What is anything about anyways?

Any one who actually checks (hortegas and manalogue) would have noticed that I fell off the blog-wagon for a while. However last weeknd I attended a party worth bloggin about....my brother's wedding. It was one of the best wedding-parties I have ever attended. And for once it wasn't just the free bar that got people in the spirit, it was the live music. The band was not particularly amazing, but they knew how to read a crowd and cater to them. At the end of the night before the cleaning crew came in, people had to be drug off the dance floor as they were calling for additional encores!
D&A thanks for the party, it really was good times with good people!

So I am a bad blogger...unreliable at entering my thoughts and daily happenings into my blog. It is astounding how I manage to put up so many road-blocks and detours for myself.
Manologue and Hortegas thank you for your comments, and I look forward to improving upon my blogversation skills.
In light of my first entry....what may seem like nothing to one, may be everything to another.

Attempting to relax after work, with my husband nearby also toiling with an excess of thoughts. One day is hardly finished, and I am already thinking about the work of the next. WORK the four letter word, it can't be what life is about! However, some days it does seem difficult to focus on the incredible gifts that we have in life, like the love of an ultimate companion.
So to rearrange my thoughts, here I am following in the footsteps of so many before me...
The prevalence of blogs on the web has almost forcibly grabbed my interest. I suppose that the appeal is somewhat similar to what attracted millions to Sinefeld, which by definition is a show about nothing.
Blogs, for the majority of the mainstream, are about absolutely nothing at all. In fact, many blog titles have encorporated the word "nothing" into their titles. However, I find myself scrolling through page after page, practically on the edge of my seat (I fear that this speaks to the lack of substance I have created in my own life!!).
If someone could help me to understand why humans, such as myself, are so fascinated with nothing, I would be much abliged. Any discussion on this topic is welcome...in fact I would go so far as to say any discussion on anything is welcome.
